Only 1 kilometer away, there are shops, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and a hydrofoil harbor and bus station connecting to Como. It is also possible to take a cable car up to Pigra and the nearby conservation area, situated on a plateau with beautiful views of the lake and of the pre-Alps. A historical 18-hole golf course is available 11 kilometers away.
