This area is also an iconic wine-producing land, a destination of choice for Pecorino cheese lovers, a source of natural thermal waters, and it is embellished by the many beautiful churches that randomly appear in the most unexpected places. It is this picturesque part of Tuscany that hosts Bengradita, a luxury villa comprised of three buildings separated by courtyards and converted by its designer owners into 12 stylish gorgeous suites.

Most of the original materials were salvaged from what it once was; a 13th century house. Some of the wood was repurposed to create furniture and modern Italian bathrooms, stone floors and state of the art lighting were selected to perfectly fit its interiors.

The unique uncluttered decor adopted by the villa owners creates a chic rustic style, elegant and yet casual and comfortable. A balanced mix of old and new, neutral white and grey palette with pops of color, generates serene beautiful spaces with the warmth of a private home.

Upon setting foot on the estate you immediately feel that this is a special place: lavender and oleander bushes border the stone walkways permeating the air with their scent, and patient cypress trees line the driveway. Several outdoor areas are furnished for guests’ enjoyment, some with hammocks, others with picnic tables; the beautiful shaded terrace outside the villa will be a perfect spot for al-fresco dining or just relaxing during the heat of the day. A stunning infinity pool with Bisazza green, blue and gold glass tiles shimmers under the sun. Lounging here taking in the gorgeous views is the epitome of a Tuscan vacation.

Being located on a hill, Villa Bengradita boasts exceptional views of rolling green fields, vineyards and the medieval town of Montepulciano in the distance. The villa is surrounded by its own extensive olive grove and features a private vegetable and herb garden at guests’ disposal, for a true farm-to-table experience.
