United States / North Carolina / Great Smoky Mountains
This beautiful cabin is perched at 3,400 ft. elevation and offers a breathtaking view, seclusion and privacy, yet is close to all necessary amenities.
It is just 15 minutes to Bryson City. This is not the typical, many-times-seen, wooden cabin. The cabin is spacious (approximately 2,000 sq. ft.), luxurious, open-floorplan house, which perfectly combines modern and traditional elements and blends beautifully into the mountain setting.
Situated in a gated community with property sizes of at least two acres, the scenic drive to the top of the world is completely paved. The last segment of the drive is a driveway to the home. The lower and steepest section of the driveway was paved July 2020, but there is gravel at the top. A 4WD vehicle is recommended. Motorcycles not recommended unless you park at the bottom of the drive and walk up.
The great room, with its 17 foot high vaulted ceiling and huge wall of south-facing windows, makes sure that you can catch and enjoy the views all day long. Here you can relax either in front of the pass-through gas fireplace (with remote control) on comfortable leather rocking chairs or gather with your family or friends on the plush leather sofas and chaise. There is a 65“ 4k LED Smart TV in the great room with Dish Network satellite service in case you just want to unwind from the exciting adventures of the day.
The custom kitchen has granite countertops and all stainless steel appliances. It is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy cooking with and for your family and friends. Small appliances such as blender, mixer, hand mixer, coffee machine or toaster are from Kitchen Aid. There is also a large Crockpot and a rotating square Belgian waffle maker available for your convenience. All dishes, silverware, etc. are available 12 times so you don’t need to worry about running out of it too quickly. The dining room offers a huge dining table with comfortable leather chairs. Also from the kitchen and dining you can enjoy the warmth and coziness of the see through fireplace.
Each of the 3 bedrooms has a king size bed, is uniquely decorated and equipped with a 4k LED Smart TV sized between 43“ and 49“, each also with Dish satellite service. In all bedrooms the lights can be dimmed to a level that suits your needs and in two bedrooms an adjustable color mood light system is available as well. Both bathrooms have a luxurious European-style double vanity with granite countertops, vessel sinks and high-quality European faucets from Hans Grohe. They also both have fully tiled showers and are equipped with European rain shower systems. The spa-like master bathroom features an oversized, freestanding soak-in bathtub. A hair dryer and an LED magnifying shaving mirror is available in each bathroom. For the powder room you can of course expect the same high quality standards.
The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer from Whirlpool, iron and ironing board as well as a first-aid kit. Outside, the Almond Tree Ranch offers an almost 60 foot wide deck which extends the complete width of the house and can be accessed from the great room and two of the bedrooms through the oversized sliding doors. The center part of the deck is fully covered by the extended roof to offer enough shade during the hot summer midday sun. If it’s getting to hot on the south facing deck, the cozy covered entry porch faces north with additional outside space. For passionate BBQ enthusiasts a gas grill from Weber will satisfy your needs. A spare propane tank is included. And if your body needs soothing after a day of hiking, mountain biking or white water rafting, you can pamper yourself in the luxury hot tub. It offers a unique side-by-side lounge and Adirondack chair and multi-level seating. It makes this spa fun, functional and therapeutic. Two high performance pumps combined with "variable volume induction" system power 50 multi-functional jets for optimum massage therapy. It’s also equipped with a Bluetooth stereo system and deluxe LED perimeter lighting, illuminated fountain jets and cup holders. The owners built this home with the intention to have a house for them and their guests that does not feel like a rental house. You will feel like home, with all the comfort and amenities you need to make the best out of your valuable vacation time.
